Tasks
– Design and develop power equipment and systems
– Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
– Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements
– Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports
– Write specifications
– Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components
– Collect and compile operational or experimental data
– Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics
