WANTED: CONSTRUCTION WORKERS

Salary: $24.00 hourly / 40.00 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment and Full time; schedules may vary and may be during day, early morning, evening, morning, night, weekend and holidays; overtime may be required; may be called to cover shifts

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

On site, work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment:

·         Outdoors

Work setting: urban and rural areas, construction site, various locations

Tasks:

·         Load, unload and transport construction materials

·         Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades

·         Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt

·         Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites

·         Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs

·         Level earth to fine grade specifications

·         Pave and rake asphalt

·         Assist in demolishing buildings

·         Clean and pile salvaged materials

·         Perform routine maintenance work

·         Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

·         Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction

·         Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Equipment and machinery experience:

·         Air guns

·         Nail guns

·         Drills

·         Sledgehammer

·         Hand tools

Construction specialization: industrial, commercial and institutional; residential

Security and safety: basic criminal record check

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
