JOB DUTIES

 

·         Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

·         Prepare and cook complete meals using a full range of cooking methods

·         Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

·         Inspect kitchens and food service areas

·         Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

·         Help lead and inspire kitchen staff and helpers

·         Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

·         Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

·         Manage kitchen operations

 

 

QUALIFICATION

 

·         High School Diploma or above

·         Proven years of experience as cook

·         Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

·         Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods

·         Ability to follow recipe instructions

 

Wage: $17-19/Hr

Hours: 30-40Hrs/W
