Job Title: Butcher (Permanent)
Employer: 1126377 BC LTD o/a Rio Brazilian Steakhouse
Working Location: 1122 Denman Street, Vancouver, BC, V6G 1T2
Working Hours: 35-40 hrs/wk (Full-time)
Wage: $18.00 – $19.00/hour (to be negotiated)
(Overtime pay will be paid at 1.5 times your regular wage for the time over 8hrs/day and over 40 hrs/wk.)
Benefits: 4% vacation fee or 10 days paid vacation

Responsibilities:
• Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat and poultry for restaurant service.
• Cut and slice cooked meats using powered speciality machines.
• Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats to prepared meats for different cooking method.
• Manage meat and poultry inventory and product freshness.
• Ensure food storage conditions are adequate and meet sanitation practices/ standards.
Qualification:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Commercial meat cutting experience is an asset.
• Ability to communicate in English is required.
