Looking for an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sushi Wara.

Working Location: 2082 Comox Ave., Comox, BC, Canada, V9M 1P8
Position: Food Service Supervisor (Permanent)
Wage: $18-$20 per hour (to be negotiated)
(Overtime pay to be paid at 1.5 regular wage after 8 hrs/day and after 40 hrs/week.
Working hours: 30 hours per week (Full-time)
Benefit: 4% vacation pay
Positions available: 1
Job Duties:
– Keep records, such as the amount and costs of foods served, and hours worked by employees
– Prepare work schedules and evaluate work performance of employees
– Assign and coordinate work of employees to promote efficiency of operations
– Supervise the activities of staff and train workers in performance of duties
– Inspect serving areas and foods to ensure qualities are met
– Involvement in recruitment of food services workers, when required
– Resolve customer complaints or concerns
Qualification:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline
or Several years of experience in food preparation or service are required.
– This position requires training staff.
– Ability to communicate in English required.
