Happy Veal Hot Pot Restaurant is a unique Chinese restaurant dedicated to offering authentic Chinese cuisine, with a focus on all-day Hot Pot. Our menu features a wide range of choices, including appetizers, soups, homemade dumplings, lunch combos, and more. Our ingredients are sourced from local farmers, ensuring the quality of our dishes and support local community. We are now looking for an experience restaurant manager to join our team. Preference will be given to those who have at least 3 years of work experience as a restaurant manger in managing Asian restaurant operations.
$19.00 to 22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per Week
Job Duties:
• Evaluate daily operations
• Monitor staff performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Recruit staff
• Set staff work schedules
• Supervise staff
• Train staff
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
• Conduct performance reviews
• Cost products and services
• Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Provide customer service
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor’s degree related to hospitality or food service management is required.
Basic knowledge on Cantonese or Szechuan cuisine.
At least 3 years of work experience on restaurant manager role is required.
Supervise 5-10 people.
