Term of employment: Full-time (30 – 40 hours/week); Permanent position

Benefits: 

• 3 weeks paid vacation after one year of employment or 5.77%,
• Overtime rate at 1.5 hourly wage paid after 40 hours worked in a given week or after 8 hours in a given day.

We are currently looking for a siding installer to join our dedicated team. The primary responsibility of this role is to measure, cut, and install siding materials on residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Installation: Measure, cut, and install siding materials, including vinyl, aluminum, wood, and fiber cement, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to building codes.
• Surface Preparation: Prepare building surfaces for siding by cleaning, repairing, or replacing damaged areas.
• Material Handling: Safely load, transport, and unload siding materials to job sites.
• Trim and Finishing: Install corner trims, soffits, fascia, and other finishing components to complete siding projects.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and safely use tools and equipment related to siding installation.

Qualifications:

• Experience an asset but not required as the employer will train on the job,
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks,
• Physically fitness and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions,
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions and safety rules.
