Job Title: First Cook
Terms of Employment: Permanent

Wage: 17.50 per hour

Position Available: 1

Job Duties:
– Prepare and cook complete meals such as pasta, pizzas and other Italian dishes.
– Complete and cook meals using grillers, oven and other kitchen appliances
– Ensures food quality in presentation and production.
– Prepare ingredients and make special sauces for meals on the menu.
– Order and check inventory of ingredients and supplies.
– Maintain sanitation standards throughout the kitchen to comply with Provincial regulations.
– Supervise kitchen helpers and implement recruiting, training staff if necessary.
– Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required skills

'- 2 to 3 years of commercial cooking experience OR Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR Completion of a college or other programs in cooking
