Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Tandoori Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with Indian cuisine, with a specific focus onTandoori dishes and able to contribute skills on Hakka and Momo. As a cook at The Indian Cuisine, you will play a pivotal role in crafting flavored varieties of tandoori dishes that keep our patrons growing more.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Cook, with a focus on Indian tandoori dishes.
- Hands on experience in preparing Tandoori dishes, Hakka, and Momo.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
