Title: Cooks (NOC 6322)
Wage: $18.00 per hour, 35-40 hours per week
Number of Positions: 3
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in Indian cuisine.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean and maintain kitchen and work area.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Order supplies and equipment
• Organize and manage buffets and banquets
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Employment Requirements:
• Completion of High School
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cook. Experience in Indian/Oriental Cuisine is an asset
• Ability and willing to complete Food Safe Level I
Additional Information:
• Should have comprehensive knowledge and experience in creating and preparing infused appetizers of various kinds.
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
• Be able to communicate in English.
• Flexible hours between day & night shifts

• Have a willingness to learn
• Proper use of kitchen tools and equipment and lock out procedures
• Knife skills and common cuts
• Basic understanding of culinary terminology
• Understand and implement proper fire safety procedures (training provided)
