Walnut Beach Resort (Osoyoos, BC) is looking for 3 Full-Time Line Cooks (NOC 6322-B)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $16.00/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Assist in training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Assist in organizing and managing buffets and banquets
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Cook
• Minimum completion of High School
• Previous experience working in a hotel/resort setting is an asset
• Culinary training is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
