Yamato Kelowna is looking for two Full-Time Cooks (NOC 6322-B)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.
Job Description:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Train and supervise kitchen helpers
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work area
• May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Cooks may specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Cook
• Completion of High School
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
