Harmony Living for Seniors is looking for three Full-Time Cooks (NOC 6322-B)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, wage of $15.20/hour.
Job Description:
• Prepare, cook and serve meals, snacks and nourishments for clients
• Prepare, cook and serve special meals for patients as instructed by supervisor
• Follow a rotating menu, use standardized recipes and prescribed cooking methods
• Follow food safety and sanitation policy and procedures
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work area
• May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Cook or Kitchen Helper
• Experience in food preparation in a healthcare environment is an asset
• Food Safe certificate, or ability to obtain one
• Language in the workplace is English
