About the Position:
We are looking for a reliable, caring, and organized Child Care Provider to join a family in their Brampton home. The successful candidate will provide attentive supervision and care for children while helping maintain a safe, healthy, and supportive home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time care and supervision of children.
- Organize age-appropriate games, activities, and outings.
- Take children to and from school and appointments.
- Assist children with homework and personal hygiene.
- Support children’s social development and well-being.
- Follow parents’ preferred methods of discipline and guidance.
- Maintain records of children’s daily activities and health information.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Assume household responsibilities when parents are away.
- Travel with the family when required and assist with child care and housekeeping.
Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1–7 months of relevant experience preferred.
- English language proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization and time-management abilities.
- Patience, reliability, honesty, initiative, flexibility, and good judgment.
- Must be comfortable working on-site in a non-smoking home.
Accommodation: Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge. Room and board are provided, but living in is not a condition of employment.
