Thai Terrace is looking for two Full-Time Ethnic Food Cooks (NOC 6322-B)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $18.50/hour, with gratuities and daily meals.
Job Description:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Cook
• Previous experience in Asian cuisine is an asset
• Minimum completion of High School
• Language in the workplace is English
