Position: Kitchen Manager

Number of Positions: 1

Duration: Full time, Permanent

Experience requirement: 1 year as a Kitchen manager

Education requirement: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Language: English

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $36.00/hour, 32 hours per week.

Job Duties:

Oversee all kitchen activities during service and ensure food is prepared and plated consistently and on time.
Coordinate with front staff to keep service smooth.
Handle issues such as delays, shortages, mistakes during the shift.
Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff (cooks, prep workers, dishwashers)
Create work schedules and manage shifts
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
Maintain high food quality and presentation standards
Enforce hygiene and sanitation rules,  ensure proper food handling and storage
Follow local health regulations to avoid violations
Monitor inventory levels, Order ingredients and kitchen supplies
Monitor food and labor costs, reduce waste and control food costs.
Work with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
Ensure recipes are followed consistently
Ensure kitchen equipment is working properly
Keep the kitchen clean and organized
