Kelowna White Spot is looking for 2 Full-Time First Cooks (NOC 6322-B) to join our team! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $17.00 per hour, with medical and dental benefits after 1 year of working.
Job Description:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods as per Kelowna White Spot standard approved by the manager on duty.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Principal set up and break-down of kitchen and cleaning. Clean kitchen and work area.
• Cooking and handling of food, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements, check inventory levels and monitor and order supplies.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Manage kitchen operations
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Cook
• Completion of secondary school or equivalent
• Language in the workplace is English
