Wendy’s (Kelowna – Harvey Avenue) is looking for five (5) Full-Time Food Service Supervisors (NOC 6311-B)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $16.00 per hour, with extended health benefits after 3 months of working.
Job Description:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare and submit reports
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customer’s complaints and concerns
• As necessary, perform duties of the workers supervised positions
• Working days are 5 days a week with varying shifts. Shift scheduling includes weekend, day, late evening, and mid-night shifts.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the food service industry
• Completion of high school or equivalent
• Language in the workplace is English
