Key responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook Italian-inspired meals and specialty dishes
– Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed
– Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling procedures
– Supervise kitchen staff and kitchen helpers during daily operations
– Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment
– Clean kitchen equipment, work areas, and food preparation surfaces
– Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of menu items
– Assist with catering and special event food preparation as required
