Good Neighbor trading inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a deep understanding of retail management. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Direct and control store’s daily operations.
Evaluate daily operations
Plan and organize daily operations
Manage staff and assign duties
Determine merchandise and services to be sold
Implement price and credits policies
Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
Develop and implement marketing strategies
Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
Determine staffing requirements
Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
Conduct performance reviews
Wage: CAD $33 – 37/hour for 30 – 40 hours/week
Qualifications:
At least 1 year work experience in retail store management.
Minimum college degree.
Excellent mathematical skills for budgeting and financial analysis.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire others to achieve their best performance.
A passion for retail with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences.
