Heritage Dental Centre 2118-109 Street, Edmonton, AB, T6J 7C1 is currently looking to hire one experienced Dental Associate, full-time, on a permanent basis.
A minimum of more than two years of previous work experience as a Dentist is required for the position and the salary offered is: $65.00/hour.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Diagnosis & Treatment
• Examine teeth, gums, and oral tissues to identify disease, injury, or decay
• Plan and provide preventive or corrective treatments (e.g., fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions)
• Prescribe medications such as antibiotics or pain relief when necessary
Preventive Care
• Clean teeth, apply sealants, and perform whitening or polishing procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care
Restorative & Surgical Procedures
• Replace missing teeth with dentures, bridges, or implants
• Perform oral surgeries (e.g., extractions, implant preparation, jaw corrections)
• Treat infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, and jaw
Supervision & Collaboration
• Oversee dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff
• Refer patients to specialists (orthodontists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists) when needed
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
Patient Care & Monitoring
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide emergency dental care for injuries or acute pain
