· Cleaning the area to prepare food as per the law and company standards.
· Preparing ingredients such as cutting vegetables, chopping meat etc.
· Monitor the quality of ingredients before cooking.
· Checking the stock of ingredients and place order in case of any shortage,
· Preparing food as per the specification of customers and before the arrival of guests.
· Adjusting food according to the demands of clients keeping in mind their allergies and diet concerns.
· Assisting other cooks while preparing meal.
· Cooking using different appliances like oven, fryers, blender, grill etc.
· Garnishing order before serving.
· Taking orders from wait staff or computerised system.
· Storing the food properly.
· Cleaning up the workstation at the end of shift.
