Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of high school, college or beauty school programs for estheticians is required;
– 1 year to less than 2 years of previous work experience as a Scalp Treatment Specialist or a Head Spa Specialist is required.

Job duties:
– Shampoo customers’ hair;
– Provide scalp treatment;
– Provide head relaxation massage;
– Body care/treatments;
– Provide scalp conditioning massages;
– Assess the client’s needs and preferences, and design a customized massage session accordingly;
– Apply various massage techniques, such as kneading, tapping, stroking, and rubbing, to the scalp, temples, forehead, ears, and neck;
– Relieve tension, stress, headaches, migraines, sinus problems, and TMJ disorders;
– Stimulate blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, and nerve endings in the head area;
– Promote relaxation, well-being, and mental clarity for the client;
– Educate the client on the benefits of head massage, and providing aftercare advice and recommendations;
– Provide customer service.
