Salary: $20.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, and may work at daytime, early morning, evening, nighttime, weekend and holidays; overtime available

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Non-smoking

Work setting: Employer’s home

Tasks

·         Take care of a child with disability

·         Administer bedside and personal care

·         Assist child in water and other activities

·         Assist child with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene

·         Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, and other therapeutic exercises

·         Feed or assist in feeding

·         Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

·         Plan therapeutic diets and menus

·         Provide personal care

·         Shop for food and household supplies

·         Prepare and serve nutritious meals

·         Cook

Credentials:  CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate

Experience and specialization:

·         Persons with a disability (autism, developmental disability)

·         Ages of children:  School age (8 years old) and Toddler to pre-school (2 years old)

·         Experience with special needs children

·         Assistance with mobility

Security and safety: Basic security clearance
