COMPENSATION AND EMPLOYMENT
• $24.00 per hour
• 35 hours per week
• Permanent, full-time employment
• Morning, day and evening work; flexible hours
• Overtime available
• Start date: As soon as possible
ABOUT THE POSITION
Provide personal care, companionship and assistance with daily living to an adult male with a disability in a private household.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administer bedside and personal care.
• Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• Assist with regular exercise, such as walking.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Provide companionship.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and cook.
REQUIREMENTS
• English language proficiency.
• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Punctuality, client focus, dependability and excellent oral communication.
• Flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, patience and honesty.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Non-smoking environment.
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no remote work option.
• Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Living in the employer’s home is NOT a condition of employment.
