Job summary:

Northbanq Design Collection Corp. is a company imported goods into Canada, by Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada.

We are seeking a skilled and creative graphic designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our import company’s visual identity. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in designing marketing materials, packaging, and other graphics related to the import industry. Responsibilities will include conceptualizing and executing design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring brand consistency.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design Development: Conceptualize and create visually appealing designs for various marketing materials, including but not limited to product packaging, brochures, flyers, social media graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency in design across all platforms, maintaining the integrity of our brand identity and adhering to established brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to understand project requirements and contribute creative ideas that align with business goals.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and delivering high-quality designs within specified deadlines.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, design tools, and software to continuously improve and incorporate innovative design techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
  • Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
    Understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred.
