We are seeking a Web Designer for our company who will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and improving user experience across our digital platforms.

This vacancy is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, newcomers, refugees, youths, and others.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Website Design and Development:

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design ideas and ensure seamless navigation and functionality across all devices.
  • Utilize responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to incorporate branding elements and maintain brand consistency throughout the website.

User Experience (UX) Optimization:

  • Conduct user research and analysis to understand customer behaviors, preferences, and pain points.
  • Implement UX best practices to enhance website usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continually improve the user experience and interface design.

Content Management:

  • Manage and update website content, including product descriptions, images, and pricing, to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Work closely with content creators and merchandisers to optimize product presentation and storytelling on the website.

E-commerce Integration:

  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to integrate online shopping functionality, payment gateways, and inventory management systems into the website.
  • Optimize the checkout process and product pages to maximize conversion rates and minimize cart abandonment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in web design and development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Magento) and e-commerce platforms.
  • Solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
