Papertown Motor Inn (Papertown Holdings Limited), located in Pine Falls, Manitoba, operates hotel rooms, indoor pool, restaurant, banquet room, lounge, VLT terminals and retail beer, is owned by the Raymond family and has been operating since 1890.

Papertown is seeking Line Cooks to support the growing business demand. We have immediate openings for team-oriented individuals.

Education: Completion of secondary school

Shifts:

·       Day/Evening/Night shifts

·       Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Prepare and cook a variety of complete meals and individual dishes.

2.     Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

3.     Schedule and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow.

4.     Oversee the overall operations of the kitchen, maintaining a smooth and organized environment.

5.     Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.

6.     Coordinate and oversee buffet setups, ensuring high-quality presentation and service.

7.     Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work area to meet health and safety standards.

8.     Plan menus, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements and costs, and ensure timely ordering and replenishment of supplies.

9.     Participate in the hiring and training of kitchen staff to meet operational needs, if required.
