A family is looking to hire in full time, a Home Child Care Provider, location: 11410‑72 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 0B8 to care for our children in a private household and assist to ensure their safety, well‑being, and healthy development. The role requires a responsible, dependable individual capable of working independently and assuming full responsibility for the home in the parents’ absence.
Wage: $37.50/hour
Language: English
Experience Required: 2–3 years
Education: Post-secondary school completion preferred or equivalent experience.
Job Duties:
Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Bathe, dress, and feed children
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Prepare infants and children for rest periods
Supervise and care for children
Tend to the emotional well‑being of children
Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child
Organize activities such as games and outings for children
Take children to and from school and to appointments
Additional Requirements
Ability to work without supervision
Strong understanding of child safety and developmental needs
Willingness to perform household‑related tasks
