Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required.

Job duties:
– Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods with gluten free options or vegan options and always nut free;
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances;
– Cook, prepare, and present appetizers such as Forno Flatbread with Dip, Chicken Noodle Soup and Fresh Herb Salad;
– Cook, prepare, and present flatbread pizzas and pastas using lots of local & organic produce, free range organic meats & Ocean Wise seafood;
– Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies;
– Inspect kitchens and food service areas;
– Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
– Order supplies and equipment;
– Supervise kitchen staff and helpers;
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
– Clean kitchen and work areas;
– Manage kitchen operations.
