We are seeking a reliable, caring, and responsible Child Care Provider to work in a
private home in Brampton. If you are passionate about supporting children’s growth and

Position Overview
This is a full-time, permanent position in a non-smoking household.
Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge (this is not a condition of
employment). Staff accommodation and room and board are provided.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- Supervise and care for children
- Maintain a safe and healthy home environment
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Discipline children according to parents’ requested methods
- Organize activities such as games and outings
- Take children to and from school and appointments
- Help children with homework
- Travel with family on trips and assist with supervision and housekeeping
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Keep records of daily activities and children’s health information
Qualifications:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of related experience
- Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
- Experience caring for children

- Organized with strong time management skills
- Flexible and able to use sound judgement
- Patient, honest, and reliable
- Takes initiative and works well independently
