Screamers Ice Cream Cafe in Radium Hot Springs, BC is looking for Food Counter Attendants to join our team.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Wage: C$18.25~20.00/hour

Work Hours: 30~40 hours/week

Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of gross salary

Job Location: Radium Hot Springs, BC

Main Job Duties:

–       Greet customers and take customer orders.

–       Wash, peel and slice fruits and vegetables using manual and electric appliances.

–       Prepare fast food items, including ice cream dishes, milkshakes, crepes and sandwiches by using grill, oven, dispensers and other equipment.

–       Prepare hot beverages, including coffee and tea.

–       Portion and wrap food, and package take-out food.

–       Serve ice cream and food at counter according to cafe standards.

–       Provide positive customer service at the counter.

–       Follow health, food safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

–       Stock refrigerators and keep inventory records.

–       Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system.

–       Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the daily checklists and cleaning standards.

Requirements:

–       No degree, certificate or diploma is required, but a minimum completion of Grade 10 is needed.

–       No experience is required. On-the-job training will be provided.

–       Language: English

–       Physical Capabilities:  Standing for extended periods
