Care for 1 child in employer’s home

Job Duties: Supervise and care for child; Prepare and serve nutritious meals to child; Help child with homework; Organize activities such as games and outings for child; Prepare craft materials and assist child to use them; Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development; Read to child; Accompany child to medical and/or dental appointments; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Specific Skills: Reading text; Communication; Problem solving; Decision making; Job task planning and organizing

Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time; Day/Evening

Wages: $20.85 per hour for 30 hours a week

Education required: Completion of high school or equivalent

Work experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
