Ex Nihilo Vineyards Okanagan Valley Inc is looking for two Full-Time Sous Chefs (NOC 6321-B)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $20.00/hour, with tips, and health benefits after 3 months.
Job Description:
• Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
• May plan menus and requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods, such as pastries, sauces, soups, salads, vegetables and meat, poultry and fish dishes, and create decorative food displays for special events such as banquets
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
Job Requirements:
• Completion of culinary training
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef/Sous Chef
• Language in the workplace is English
