Job Title: Tire Technician/Service Truck Operator
Overview
We are seeking a Tire Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tires for various commercial and industrial vehicles and equipment both in the shop and in the field. Your ability to provide excellent customer service while working efficiently with hand and power tools is essential to ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.
Job Duties:
Install, balance, and rotate tires on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
Remove wheel assemblies, dismounting, balancing, inflating, and installing repaired or replacement tires and wheel assemblies
Perform tire repairs, including patching and replacing damaged tires.
Perform pressure checks using appropriate equipment and specifications
Conduct thorough inspections of tires to assess wear and safety issues.
Lift heavy tires and equipment as needed, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
· On the road job and must drive to commercial customer site to perform job duties 75% of the time and 25% of the time performs the work at the employer work location
Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with company policies
Maintain documentation and records as required
Inspect and document damage and defects
· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Employment term:
· Permanent and full time position – 40 hours per week
· On call on a rotation basis
· Hourly rate of $25.00

Education and Experience
· Fluent in English
· Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in tire installation and repair.
· Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
· Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for tire handling tasks.
· Must have a driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
· Meet our insurance qualifications for driving service trucks over ¾ ton (25 years old or more)
· Education: High School preferred but not mandatory
