The Honest Butcher located at 130 Manville Road, Scarborough, Ontario is looking for a full-time Butcher for a salary of; $36.00 per hour for 40.0 hours per week.

Qualifications;

·          Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in cutting and slicing meat at wholesale or retail store.

·          In-depth knowledge of halal meat processing

·          Ability to pay attention to details

·          Ability to work under physically demanding

·          Excellent oral communication skills

·          Completion of secondary school is required.

Job Duties;

·          Trim, cut, bone, slice or grind meat as required

·          Use manual tools to cut as well as grinding and packing machine equipment

·          Display meats, prices, weighs and package for sale.

·          Plan delivery schedule for orders from customers

·          Keep records of sales, budgets and manage inventory

·          Inspect meat and meat products with extreme caution

·          Comply with food safety standards by cleaning and sterilising work counter and equipment

·          Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters.
