Your New Role…
In this role you will be responsible to create a range of conceptual content (characters, weapons, gear upgrades, marketing art) to inspire and communicate the visual direction of an upcoming AAA console title. You will work closely with the member of the Characters team and the Art Directors to help define and uphold the aesthetic vision of the game while maintaining the highest level of consistency and quality.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Understand the project’s creative vision
Contribute to overall art direction and bring new ideas.
Craft visually inspiring, high-fidelity concepts that set the quality bar for the team.
Concept art creation
Collaboration/communication with the production team.
Qualifications & Experience…
2 to 4 years of experience in AAA video game development, required.
Completion of post-secondary studies in Concept Art for visual content development in the game or film industry, required.
Having a portfolio or website demonstrating your artistic skills and application of them to a video game production pipeline, required.
Strong expertise in Photoshop.
Must demonstrate the ability to work in a variety of styles and genres.
Knowledge of art history and contemporary culture.
Familiarity with 3D art and combining 2D and 3D techniques (e.g., zBrush), an asset.
General knowledge of fashion, including balancing proportions, shapes, and materials.
