Overview
This is an on-the-go job. The mechanic helper is required to work in and out of the company-provided vehicle. All equipment will be on deck. If you’re someone who loves to be on the move and enjoys working in various locations, come join us!

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Will train

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Requirements:

•Must be lawfully authorized to work in Canada
– Canadian citizen
– Permanent resident of Canada
– Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit

·         Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and vehicles

·         Excellent problem-solving abilities.

·         Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
Tasks

·         Move tools, equipment and other materials

·         Hold stakes during surveying activities

·         Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed

·         Clean machines and immediate work areas

·         Helping with regular maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks and tire rotation.

·         Learning and applying new technical skills under the supervision of a mechanic

· Always adhering to the safety procedures.
