Job Title: Cook
Position Available: 1
Wage: $18.00 per hour
Work Condition: 40 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)
Benefit: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross salary
Work Location: 895 Gibsons Way, Gibsons, BC V0N 1V8
Job Duties:
– Plan, prepare and cook a wide range of Japanese meal (donburi, sushi, udon etc.)
– Monitor food inventory stock and order if necessary.
– Ensures Kitchen area, food storage and utensils are kept sanitary
– Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
– May supervise and train kitchen helpers
– Assist other cooks and perform related work as required
Requirements:
– Minimum 2-year of commercial cooking experience OR Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR Completion of a college or other programs in cooking
– Language: English is required
– Education: Completion of Secondary School
