The Hanami group of restaurants brings a taste of Vancouver’s Asian-influenced dining experiences to YVR. Now we are looking for a Cook to join our great team.
1. Job Description
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Clean food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy
• Manage other employees in the kitchen
• Season food according to recipes or company needs
• Communication with owner about how to improve meal services
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• May hire and train kitchen staff
2. Requirements
• Completion of High School or equivalent degree
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Great communication skill with a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
• English proficiency
• 1-2 years experience as a Cook in restaurant industry

• Location: Vancouver International Airport (3880 GRANT MCCONACHIE WAY suite C-3830 Richmond, BC V7B 0A5)
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent, 30~40 hours/ week
• Start date: ASAP
• Wage: $16.35 per hour
