Position: Food Service Supervisor

Positions Available: 1

Wage: C$20.50~C$21.00/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 30-40 hrs/week

Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary for vacation pay

Business Location: 9928 Lougheed Hwy., Burnaby, BC V3J 1N3

Job Duties:

– Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of servers and kitchen helpers who prepare, portion and/or serve Korean dishes

– Prepare food order summaries for chef

– Maintain accurate records of stock, sales and wastage and order supplies

– Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and company policies

– Establish methods to meet work schedules

– Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

– Address customers’ complaints or concerns

– Must have knowledge of the restaurant’s culinary genre, Korean cuisine

– May perform the same duties as workers supervised when needed

Job requirements:

– Completion of secondary school is required.

– A minimum of 2 years of experience in food preparation or service is required.

– The Serving It Right certificate is required.

– Efficient interpersonal skills and customer service skills are required.

– Language of work: English
