Term of employment: Full-time (30 hours to 40 hours per week) and permanent position

Job summary:

Inglewood Tea House is a popular dessert shop nestled in Calgary’s historic district, Inglewood. The store is offering a wide range of dishes and drinks harmonizing the flavors of Vietnamese street food and Taiwanese bubble tea culture. We are currently looking for a food service supervisor whose main responsibility is to manage the staff and the operation of the tea store.

This vacancy is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, newcomers, refugees, youths, and others.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of food preparation and service personnel, ensuring they follow established procedures efficiently.
  • Procurement Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, placing orders to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Scheduling and Procedure Establishment: Create work schedules and operational guidelines for food preparation and service staff to optimize workflow.
  • Training and Development: Train employees in their job duties, emphasizing food safety, sanitation protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, fostering a secure working environment for all staff.
    Customer Relations: Address customer feedback and concerns promptly to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Financial Oversight: Maintain accurate daily sales records, including cash handling, debit/credit transactions, and cash drawer reconciliation.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school is required;
  • Minimum one year of experience;
  • Ability to supervise 3 – 5 people;
  • Willing to work flexible hours and during weekends.
