Double F Farms is seeking experienced Farm Supervisors to join its mixed farming operation in Kirriemuir, Alberta. These are permanent, full-time, on-site positions supporting beef cattle and crop production.

Work Site Environment
• Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots
• Oilseed farming (except soybean)
• Other grain farming
• Wheat farming
• Work must be completed at the physical location; there is no option to work remotely
Responsibilities
• Supervise and train general farm workers
• Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• Mark livestock as proof of ownership
• Monitor animal health
• Organize tasks to accomplish the work
• Treat livestock health issues
• Carry out pasture or pen breeding programs
• Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Formulate feeding programs
• Maintain livestock performance records
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Perform general farm duties
Requirements
• Language: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: at least one year of relevant farming experience
• Experience in agricultural crop service or beef cattle
• Ability to supervise farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Organized and a team player
