Greenshields Seed Farm Ltd. is seeking a grain farm worker to join its farming operation in Semans, Saskatchewan. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site opportunity for a dependable individual who can work independently in a rural agricultural environment.

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Hours: 40-60 hours per week

About the Farm

The operation includes: Wheat, Canola, Flax, Mustard, Peas, Lentils

The position is based on-site in a rural area. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Apply fertilizers

Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops

Fertilize and spray crops

Harvest crops

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

Perform general farm duties

Qualifications

Experience is an asset

No degree, certificate or diploma is required

Ability to work independently

Experience operating agricultural equipment such as:

Farm truck

Tractor

Seed drill

Sprayer or duster

Valid driver’s licence

Working Conditions
