Position: Automotive repair and service shop supervisor
Number of Positions: 1
Duration: Full time, Permanent
Education requirement: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
Experience requirement: minimum 1 year experience required as an Automotive repair and service shop supervisor
Language: English
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $41.00/hour, 30 to 35 hours/week.

Job Duties:

•Evaluate and direct the daily operations of the lube shop to ensure efficient service
delivery, safety compliance and customer satisfaction
•Supervise, coach, coordinate and schedule activities of Lube technicians and
apprentices for repair, oil change and maintenance of vehicles.
•Provide training to employees and new hires or arrange for external training as required
•Establish procedures to complete scheduled work.
•Monitor repair progress, ensuring jobs are completed on time and according to
standards.
•Manage inventory and assist in ordering materials and supplies needed for operation.
•Maintain compliance with safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
•Identify and resolve workplace issues and recommend actions to enhance productivity
and quality of work.
•Evaluate staff performance and recommend appropriate personnel actions, including
recruitment and promotions
•Prepare and maintain service records, parts orders, and inventory documentation.
